02 Workshop credentials

Why F-Series owners come to us

The Ford F-Series is a serious truck and the support backing remanufactured units is good, but the trucks come with serious electronics and serious chassis. Most general workshops do not see enough of them to be confident on a Powerstroke fuel system or a 10R140 transmission. We do.

As an authorised FOX distributor we hold large local stock of FOX shocks for F-Series setups, handle warranty claims, and rebuild shocks in-house. We tune the EcoBoost, Coyote and Powerstroke in-house on a 2WD chassis dyno calibrated for high-output American engines. And we have the parts relationships to bring in genuine and quality aftermarket components without long delays.

Powerstroke diesel performance and reliability

The 6.7L Powerstroke is a workhorse diesel and it responds well to careful tuning. Throttle response, towing performance, and fuel economy under load all improve with a quality dyno tune. We pair engine tunes with transmission tunes for proper shift behaviour under load, and we keep the emissions hardware operational so the truck stays road registered.

We do not chase Instagram-level peak numbers at the cost of reliability. Our Powerstroke tunes are designed to tow daily for ten years. We log every tune, keep the stock file on hand, and you can revert any time.

EcoBoost V6: small engine, big capability

The 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 in the F150 is a remarkable engine. Modern, light, efficient, and surprisingly grunty. It also responds to tuning particularly well. With a quality tune, cold air intake and exhaust upgrades, the EcoBoost feels meaningfully quicker without sacrificing reliability or fuel economy.

We tune EcoBoost trucks regularly. We focus on safe boost levels, healthy fuel trims, and long term reliability. If you want noticeable real-world performance gains from a daily-driven F150, a tune is the highest-value upgrade you can do.

Specialised wheel alignments for American trucks

An F250 on 37 inch tyres needs more than a quick toe-and-go. We do comprehensive wheel alignments specifically calibrated for heavy American trucks: corrected caster under load, camber matched to the wheel and tyre package, full thrust angle correction, and a proper road test. After any lift, GVM upgrade, leaf or coil change, or new wheel and tyre package, this is what makes the truck track straight, stop straight, and not destroy a fresh set of tyres.

07 Frequently Asked

Questions Ford F-Series owners ask us

Will my Ford warranty be affected if I service with you?

No. Australian Consumer Law protects your right to use any qualified workshop, provided servicing is done to manufacturer specification. We follow the official service schedule and use approved fluids and parts. We document every service properly to keep your warranty intact.

Do you tune the EcoBoost V6 in the F150?

Yes. The 3.5L EcoBoost responds well to tuning. We focus on safe boost levels, proper fuel trims and reliable long term operation. With a tune, intake and exhaust the truck is noticeably quicker without sacrificing reliability.

What is the largest tyre I can fit on a Ford F250 with a 3 inch lift?

Most F250 trucks with a quality 3 inch lift will clear 37 inch tyres on the right offset wheels. Some trim levels need minor trimming. We confirm clearance during the build and we adjust offsets to keep the steering and turning circle correct.

Do you do GVM upgrades on F150?

Yes, we do engineered GVM upgrades on F150 platforms. This is a popular upgrade for tourers carrying heavy work loads or extra accessories. We arrange engineering and the upgrade is recorded against your VIN.

Can you fit a fifth wheel hitch to an F350?

Yes. We install fifth wheel and gooseneck hitches on F350. We work with major Australian hitch suppliers and we arrange engineering certification where required. We also calibrate the brake controller and check the trailer tow setup as part of the install.

How long does an F-Series build take?

Builds typically take 1 to 4 weeks. The range covers the time we need to do thorough quality assurance on every job. Heavy duty builds requiring engineering certification can take longer depending on assessment timelines. If you need minimum downtime we can plan that, but it requires a longer wait time before booking so we have adequate staff and every part on site before your truck arrives.
